Do you ever get to leave the North Pole when it's not Christmas Eve? Do you think it would be ok if we got to meet Mrs. Claus? I hear she is very pretty and very nice.

  Thank you for your nice letter!

  I do get to visit the world during the rest of the year, that is, when my work is caught up at the Workshop.  In fact I visited Greenville earlier this year, it is such a beautiful place with all those trees!  I even got to see the chickens living in the trees behind a very nice hotel there.  Bluedolph usually brings me down.  You can learn about him in his book on this website, he was very excited to be in a book!

  Mrs. Claus is very nice and very pretty.  She also makes some of the best cookies ever.  And I thought it was time for children everywhere to finally meet her.  So I wrote a book about her which you can find on the website as well.  It will be published very soon and she is very excited.  After the book is published she will also be joining me on my trips sometimes because she really wants to meet all of you! 

  Keep being good and keep writing.  We love to get letters!
