  This year has been hard. I have been sorta good. The only thing that I want is a purple smart watch The reason why is because I can check the time. And have a calculator. Also there is a camera. The reason why I want one thing for Christmas is because I don't need that much stuff and I need to be thankful. sincerely, Maycee.

  I loved getting your letter.  I'm curious what you mean by "sorta good"?

  You are a very dear and special spirit and I know how hard you try.  I also know that your Mom & Dad love you so very much.

  Being thankful is Very Important.  In fact no one can be very happy for long if they are not thankful. The elves always like to watch to see how the children react when they receive their gifts.  They love it when the children are truly thankful and it causes them to smile all year long, while they work on next year's presents.  And everyone knows that happy elves make the best toys!

  You should practice being thankful by giving your Mom and Dad a great big warm hug and thanking them for all they do for you and how much they love you.  You will be bringing big smiles to Mom and Dad, and also every elf at the North Pole.
