Dear Santa,
This year was a little different than the usual year. This year, we moved from house to house and I wasn't a fan. I mean, yeah, it's a wonderful house- my own room, a diving pool, friendly neighbors, Dad's job is super close, etc. But my old house was perfect as well... Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that it was a bad time to move. All of the renovations to our new home are costing a lot more than we expected, so we now will be having a less expensive Christmas this year- less presents. So your present is extra special to me this year. It has to be the right one!
Out of all the craziness this time of year, I hope you can get my letter. This really means a lot to me. If I say so myself, I've been pretty good this year. I don't want much for Christmas, but there are a couple of things that I want.
1- Arm Band "Force" Controlled Star Wars BB-8 Droid
2- Orbeez Relaxing Hand Spa with 600 Orbeez
3- Project MC Ultimate Spy Kit
4- LED Sky Board
5- Razor Crazy Cart Shift 24 volt Ride On in Black (probably not going to happen though...)
I just want you to know that I really appreciate this and I hope that the gift you send me is the right one so it can make this Christmas like all the others. I'll be happy with anything you send that "fits me".
Your dearest,
Em

My Dear Em

How wonderful it was to get your letter.  My scheduling Elves got your "Change of Address" so I will have no trouble finding your new home. Also the sleigh now Hovers so small rooftops will no longer be a problem.

I know moving is difficult: new house, new room, new school and new friends...  But it is also fraught with wonderful new adventures: new house, new room, new school and new friends.... oh and Santa's favorite... New Diving Pool!!  Maybe I can come down and try that this summer????

Anyway, I know your Mom & Dad thought long and hard over this decision before they made it, for your sake and also because of the great cost involved.  In the end they love you so much that they were willing to pay the cost and endure the great challenges that come with it.

It's times like these when I like to remind everyone that a Great Christmas has very little to do with money. It's no coincidence that money is not mentioned in ANY of the wonderful carols sung this time of year.  Money wasn't even the reason that a Very Special Child had to be born in a stable, it was simply a lack of rooms in the inn.

Do you know what Santa's favorite gift is?  A smile and a Big Warm Hug! Free and Priceless at the same time!

With all the love in your home, I can promise a great Christmas.  And you are sure to see some pretty cool gifts under your tree (The elves are looking over your list already...).

For the best Christmas ever please try something for Santa; Please go give your Mom and your Dad one of your special Em Hugs. Then tell them how much you love and appreciate them and all they do for you.  After Christmas, write me again and tell me how it went. I think the lights will be a little brighter, the cider a little sweeter and your heart a whole lot warmer.

Christmas Eve will be a very busy night for me so I can't stay long.  But Santa just might visit again after the New Year so I can have an Em Hug and smile.... and maybe dive into that pool a time or two, if I can keep Rudolph out long enough....

All my love,
Santa
